Yin Yang

2, Using Polarity
Cast on 2/16/1993

Yin and Yang, black and white intertwined.
How well do I balance my opposites?
I feel that I have created a universe that seems to take and take without a thought of giving. Therefore my give and take seem askew.
This goes with my not knowing my value.
I have clarified what I have to offer, but not it's value to the Universe.
I seem to be playing in playgrounds to small for me and undervaluing what I offer.

Cast on 8/10/93

If I see the world as a black hole waiting to suck me in, then I spend all my time and energy fighting to stay out. That is my challenge, achieving new balance with more give and take.

Insights from my I Ching readings

#10 Inner Harmony cast 3/22/93
Embracing oneness and being undivided is not neccessary all the the time. It means being able to focus completely and fully on what needs to be focused on NOW, and letting all else go for right now, to be returned to later when I can focus completely on the distraction.

#8 Noncompetitive Values
Cast 3/1/93
The Image is of water,. Water that stays in one place stagnates & only benefits a few. Water that flows freely benefits many more & and produces changes that even more.
Sitting home and stagnating does not even benefit myself.
Cast 9/9/93
Go with the flow. Don't push the River. Exert the minimal pressure/energy to get around obstacles, instead of pushing through them.
These are images and lessons I have been learning all my life.
In trying to fit in I do not flow, I direct my energy, trying to please and fit in.Therefore I feel stuck and limited.

#16 Knowing Enough
Cast 2/14/96
Knowing enough to act is a challenge for me. I tend to want more information, to wait untill I all there is to know, rather than trust myself to act on what I know now.
Acting is fraught with peril & opportunity for mistakes or even failure.
Wait and the situation will change, the problem go away, others will act, etc.
Trust myself and act on the best of my knowledge and abilities.

#49 Opening the Mind
Keeping my mind open and impartial keeps it open to reality and to possibilities. The challenge is to keep my self open to possibilities and trust myself to make good decisions actively.
Actually I can only make good decisions if I keep my mind open and accept the situation and information out there and inside. Then I am with Tao.
